Getting started

Linking and verifying your pages

How page ownership works, why one page belongs to one account, and what verification needs.

Add the pages you post from

You can link as many TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube pages as you actually run. Campaigns are matched against your pages, so more real pages means more you can apply to.

One page belongs to one account

A page can only ever be linked to a single GetClippd account. Nobody else can claim a page that’s yours, and you can’t claim someone else’s.

If two people have claimed the same page, neither of them owns it until one verifies it. Verifying is how the tie gets broken.

Verifying a page

To verify a page you send a screenshot of its audience analytics — the countries breakdown from Instagram Insights, TikTok Studio, or YouTube Studio.

That does two jobs at once. Only the person who controls a page can open its analytics, so the screenshot is what proves the page is yours. And the countries breakdown tells us who actually watches you, which is what campaigns match against.

What Tier 1 means

Some campaigns are only open to pages whose audience is mostly in English-speaking countries — the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. That’s what Tier 1 means.

It isn’t a judgement about your page. It’s a requirement that comes from the client: a campaign for a US release wants US viewers. Pages that aren’t Tier 1 are eligible for everything that isn’t Tier 1 gated.

Your demographics are locked to the page

Once a page is verified, its audience data is stored against that page and stays with it. If your audience genuinely shifts over time, re-verify to update it.
