The rules for clipping with us: what gets paid, what gets rejected, and what gets you removed.
What this is
GetClippd connects creators with campaigns run by brands and labels. You clip content for a campaign, submit the clip, and get paid on the campaign's CPM rate for views that pass our checks. Using the platform means agreeing to what is on this page.
Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for what happens on it, and for keeping your Discord login secure. You may only connect social pages that you actually own and control — claiming someone else's page is grounds for removal and forfeiture of anything earned from it.
Clips and payment
- Rate — Each campaign publishes a CPM. You earn that rate on qualifying views on clips you submit to that campaign.
- Caps — Campaigns have a total budget, and may cap how much a single post or a single creator can earn. Once a budget is exhausted, further views do not add earnings.
- Adjustment — Earnings shown before a campaign closes are an estimate and can move. They are final when the campaign is wrapped.
- Checks — Views are checked for bot activity. Views we judge to be inauthentic are excluded, and a clip built on them can be removed and unpaid.
- Timing — Clips must be posted within the campaign window. Posts made before a campaign launched do not qualify.
What gets a clip rejected
Clips posted outside the campaign window, clips on a page you have not verified, duplicates of a clip already submitted, content that breaks the campaign brief, and clips whose views do not stand up to bot checks.
Rejections are visible in your account with a reason. If you think one is wrong, open a ticket — a person will read it.
Buying engagement
Buying views, likes or comments — on a campaign clip or on the page it is posted from — ends your participation. We remove the affected clips, withhold the associated earnings, and ban the account. This is the one rule we enforce without discretion, because inflated numbers are paid for out of a real brand's budget.
Getting paid
You choose a payout method — PayPal or USDC — and payouts are sent after a campaign is wrapped and its earnings are final. It is your responsibility to give us correct payout details; we cannot recover a payment sent to a wrong address you supplied.
You are an independent creator, not an employee or contractor of Get Engaged Media, and you are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn here.
Your content
You keep ownership of the clips you make. By submitting a clip to a campaign you allow us and the campaign's brand to view, track and reference it for the purposes of running and reporting on that campaign.
You are responsible for having the rights to the footage and audio you use.
Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove an account for buying engagement, claiming pages that are not yours, submitting other people's clips, abusing staff, or attempting to manipulate the payout system. Where the reason is a judgement call rather than a clear breach, you can appeal through a support ticket.
The platform itself
We work to keep view data accurate, but it comes from third-party platforms and can be delayed or wrong. The service is provided as-is, and we are not liable for losses arising from platform outages, scraping failures, or a social platform changing what it reports.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be announced before they take effect.
