Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what we need to pay you correctly and to check that views are real. That means your Discord account, the social pages you clip from, the clips you submit and how they perform, and one payout detail — a PayPal email or a USDC wallet address.

We do not run advertising trackers, we do not use analytics pixels, and we do not sell your data. The cookies this site sets are the ones that keep you signed in.

What we collect

• Discord account — When you sign in with Discord we request the identify, email and guilds scopes. That gives us your Discord user ID, username, avatar, the email on your Discord account, and the list of servers you are in (used to check membership of the GetClippd server).
• Your pages — The handles and profile URLs of the TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts you connect, and their follower counts.
• Verification screenshots — Screenshots of your account analytics that you upload to verify a page belongs to you. See "Automated verification" below — these are read by an AI model.
• Clips and performance — The URL of every clip you submit, and its public view, like and comment counts, collected repeatedly over the life of a campaign so payouts track real performance.
• Payout details — Either the PayPal email address or the USDC wallet address you choose to be paid at. We store one payout method per account.
• Support messages — Anything you write in a support ticket, so staff can answer it.
• IP address — Recorded against staff actions in an internal audit log, so a payout or ban can be traced to whoever performed it.

Why we collect it

Your Discord identity is your account — it is how you sign in and how earnings are attached to you. Your pages and clips are what campaigns pay against. Performance data is the basis of the payout calculation, and it is also what bot detection runs on: if a clip's views do not behave like real views, that clip does not get paid, and we need the underlying numbers to make that call defensibly.

Payout details exist only so money can reach you. We ask for one method, not several.

Automated verification

When you verify a page by uploading a screenshot of your analytics, that image is sent to Anthropic's API and read by an AI model, which checks that the screenshot matches the handle you are claiming. The result — pass or fail — is stored against your page.

This is the only place your data leaves our own systems for processing. If you would rather not have a screenshot processed this way, contact us and we will verify the page manually instead.

Public performance data

We read the public view, like and comment counts on clips you submit. We only ever read what is already publicly visible on the post — we do not access your account, your private analytics, or your direct messages, and connecting a page does not give us the ability to post as you.

Who your data goes to

• Anthropic — Verification screenshots only, for the automated check described above.
• PayPal or the crypto network you choose — Only the payout detail you provided, and only when a payment is actually sent.
• Brands and labels running campaigns — Aggregate campaign performance, and the handle and clip links of creators on their campaign. They do not receive your email, your payout details, or your Discord account.
• Nobody else — We do not sell your data, share it with data brokers, or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Account, clip and earnings records are kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as we need them for financial and tax records — payouts have to stay auditable after a campaign closes.

Verification screenshots are kept only as long as needed to review the page they verify.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email hello@getclippd.com from the address on your account, or open a support ticket while signed in.

Deleting your account removes your profile, pages and payout details. Records of payments already made are retained where we are required to keep them, and clips that were paid remain attributed to the campaign they were paid on.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, to request portability of your data, or to complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

GetClippd is not intended for people under 16, and you need to be old enough to be paid for work where you live. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16 we will close it.

Changes and contact

If we change what we collect or who we send it to, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Questions about any of it: hello@getclippd.com.
